IRGANDI BRIDGE

Irgandı Brıdge which is in Gökdere village of Osmangazi District was constructed by Pir Ali in 1442 . According to historical sources ; there were 31 shops, amasjid, and 2 depots on the bridge. It suffered severe damage by the earthquake in 1885. The a small part of the bridge collapsed during the War of Independence . After the war , it was rebuilt as wooden . The bridge is one of the four bridges in the wold which have shops on .
The Gerush Synagogue

The Synagogue,located on Arap Şükrü Street,was constructed in the beginning of 16th century by Sultan Selim II. This Synagogue was built for he Jewish populance who were send out of Spain and were accepted to Ottoman Empire by Sultan Selim II.Gerush means ‘’expelled’’ in Hebrew.The Synagogue is in extremely good condition and maintained and used for Jewish populance living in Bursa.
